Rubber Track Sizes

A rubber track size is commonly displayed in a three-part format such as:

300x52.5x80

Each number identifies a different part of the track:

• First number — Width: the overall width of the rubber track.
• Second number — Pitch: the distance between corresponding drive lugs around the inside of the track.
• Third number — Links: the total number of drive lugs or links around the inside circumference of the track.

For example, 300x52.5x80 identifies a track with a 300 mm width, 52.5 mm pitch and 80 links.

A rubber track should not be selected based only on a three-number size whenever machine information is available.

Different equipment makes and models can use different track configurations, and some machines may have more than one possible track size or configuration.

For this reason, we recommend providing the equipment make and exact model along with the current rubber track size whenever possible.
